8 Years.

I wish I had been born earlier so I could have known you longer. 

I wish I had told you that you were my best friend 1000 times over....instead of just once. 

I wish I could have that last day again. I would do so many things differently.

I wish you knew how incredible you were.

I wish you had more time to learn all you wanted to learn and to teach everything you wanted to teach.

I wish I had more time. 

All the time. 

I wish I never had to grow up and you never had to grow old.

I wish I had my compass back. There are so many times I need to know where to go. 

I wish you knew me as a mother. 

I wish my kids knew you as a Great-Grandmother. 

I wish I didn't have just stories left. 
 

I wish I would have taken more pictures.

I wish I would have visited more.

I wish I wouldn't have thought "We have more time"
